Social Studies:

Type your Mission Report paragraphs in your google drive document that we started together in class. Use your note-taking sheet to guide your paragraphs in complete sentences. No Bullets in formal research reports! Due Friday like the Homework sheet says. (Make sure you have shared this document with me)

Science:

Do online research on six of the world's largest volcanoes. Write a one page informational essay explaining your research findings. Type this in Google Classroom. Include what type of Volcano (shield, cone, etc), where they are located, when they last erupted (if known), and any other interesting facts. Feel free to include digital images of the volcanoes in your document, if you have time.

Art:

Finish your Sun Flowers fine art piece. (keep all of your art in your folder to send me later)

  • Review Test in SAB pages 341-346 (check your answers on Thursday in Google classroom)
  • Quiz Unit 8 on Symmetry (take a picture of this and share it with Mrs. Brown in Google drive)
  • Study all Unit 8 Notes in your binder on Geometry
  • Lesson 7-1:  SAB pages 249-250 and Homework/Remembering 7-1
  • Check Google Classroom on Friday for a Think Central Math Test for Unit 8

Extra Math- Dreambox or Khan Academy or Think Central: 30 minutes daily

 

Language Arts:

  • Benchmark Reader Unit 6 Week 3- read, annotate, and complete pages 22-31.
  • Benchmark Packet 6-3 (spelling sort and blanks, context clues chart) (skip the other pages)
  • Workshop Packet 6-3 (all pages, check your grammar bites answers in Google Classroom)
  • Homework: Packet 6-3  (take pictures of your answers and share them in Google drive)
  • Assessments: Have your parent give you a spelling test on the last page of the homework packet  (take pictures of your answers and share them in Google drive)
  • Writing: Type your story about the Giant in Google Classroom.

Extra Language Arts: Lexia or Benchmark Universe: 30 minutes daily

Science:

  • Read Lesson 6-3 on landslides in the Science Text book pages 218-221.
  • Do the Chapter 6 Review on page 224-225 of the text book and type your answers in Google Classroom.

Social Studies:

  • Read Lesson 3-5 in the Social Studies Our California Book on pages 85-88 on How California's Government Changed. Answer all questions on these pages. Write a half page summary of what you learned from the lesson and type your answers in Google Classroom.
  • Reread Unit 5 pages  and study the Unit 5 Study Packet that you received.

Art:
